35mm Slides from 1979

I have boxes of slides from 1979-1980. I just purchased the slide converter recommended on this page from Hammacher. Can't wait to receive it - and hope it works. Thank you for the recommendation. It would have cost me many times this at .29+ cents each. I'm anxiously awaiting the walk down memory lane.

Did you find the slide converter recommended here worked OK?
I tried googling for a few reviews but couldn't find any.
Thanks
