is an exciting free service that's a unique way to celebrate someone, events or things you love. It has huge potential for those of us interested in preserving family memories. It is easy to use and can be used for multiple occasion. There is nothing to download and it's super easy to use. Start by (1) selecting a design, (2) give it a title, (3) choose a unique URL and (4) add a photo. You decide whether to keep your creation "tribute" private or public. You then invite friends and/or family to contribute any combination of photos, words, voice and embedded videos. Give them all a deadline to make their contributions then you are ready to present your collective work to the special person or it was designed for.  People
are beginning to use Tribbit for many different
occasions such as
birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, babies, baby showers, memorials,family reunions, funerals and graduations. These are all occasions that we should be preserving memories of anyway, right? Right now I am rallying my family and cousins to build a tribute to my 84 year old grandma. It will be presented to her on her 85th birthday in May 2008. Our family is spread out all around the country, but Tribbit will make it all possible despite the geographic "hurdles". Other ideas that I plan on using Tribbit for will be to create a tribute to our parents. There are four of us kids. The tribute will be a way of thanking mom and dad raising us and will serve as a way to recall all of the good times we had during the growing up years. Tribbit is not overly feature-rich. It has all the basics needed and it is free. More features will most likely be added as time goes on and more and more begin using it.
