Sweet Memories of My Grandma

Writing about my grandma Diama.

Now, after a long time after her passing away takes me back on those sweet days of my childhood.

Today we arranged a family get together, but I missed her a lot. Seeing her photo I recalled those happy days.

She was very careful about our education. She was a real beautiful lady I ever seen. We called her Indira Gandhi (behind) her back.

She loved me a lot, as I am the only girl in my family. She was just 'thakumar jhuli' to me...with lots of stories of rajputtro and rajkonna, bangoma and bangoni.

Now after a long time I still miss her in the time of 'ombabuchi'. I want to say ... I missed you Diama.

All those sweet memories are priceless to me. And now I understand that she was a modern lady considering her time and I am thankful to her for my reading habits.

All I want to tell is that U r still in my heart with a small hair and white shari...smiling like a sweetheart.
