It has been a long cold winter here in Alaska, but spring has finally arrived in Alaska. No spring flowers yet, but spring is in the air. It won't be long.

It has been in the high forties in south central Alaska and that is when many Alaskans start wearing their shorts and cutoffs.

I'm not kidding!

I have seen a few people running around in shorts and sandles already. All the snow isn't even gone yet!!

As for me, I think I'll wait a little while longer before I go looking for any shorts to wear.
